Charlotte’s first word?

Okay, so she may not have the same advanced gross motor skills that Annie so pleasantly freaks us out with, but Charlotte seems to be one upping Annie with the language development.  Not surprising considering she’s the second child and hears Annie and I talking all the time.   Anyway, I’m pretty sure that she’s saying “doggy” whenever Ginny is around.

Here’s a picture of the two of them, please excuse the shoes, my kitchen seconds as a mudroom (I know, fun right?)

These two have a pretty good relationship.  Annie broke Ginny in pretty well.   Ginny wasn’t so hot on Annie at first.  You know, having to be ousted from her spot as child, to just a dog, suddenly having all of her space invaded, hairs yanked and tail pulled.  These days, a pretty much immobile baby who just wants to gently yank on your ears isn’t so bad.  Ginny, who just turned 6 this past week, is turning out to be a great family dog.
