There were so many opportunities for me to take some great “action shots” of Annie today!  We went to gymnastics this morning, just her and I.  There is an open gym every week that we can go to and play on all of the gymnastics equipment without having to have formal lessons.  She absolutely loves it…I however forgot my camera.

We later went out shopping.  I decided that letting her walk around the store would be okay, since it was the middle of the day at Bed Bath and Beyond.  There weren’t really a lot of people there, and it wasn’t as though I was in a rush – the baby had fallen asleep in the Ergo and it was a good opportunity to work on having Annie stay close to me in a store setting.  She did so well, listened to my directions, did what I asked of her – as we navigate through her terrible twos being out at a store with her not in a cart is not something I look fondly upon, but she did really well, and I was so proud of her.   I forgot my camera again though.

Later in the day, my mom came over.  The reason I had been shopping was in part to get an Aerobed so that my mom has a place to sleep when she’s here.  So we set that up, and of course Annie thought that it would be a wonderful thing for her to jump up and down on!  Once again, no camera.

Finally, once in bed, and asleep, I remember the camera.

Please note:  The bandaid is still on!    So, Annie sleeps.   That is her “blankie”  made by a friend of mine.  It’s patterned after Yo Gabba Gabba characters, a children’s television show, that if you have never seen, you must check out!

Charlies day was much like her sister’s, although seen from her Ergo.  She’s still not much for anyone other than me or Danny, so when my mom is here, she gets to focus all her attention on Annie, and Charlotte gets some time with just mommy! She’s currently into eating her veggies…see?
