Well, it’s official. Charlie is mobile. She started rolling not more than two weeks ago, and then yesterday I caught her rolling from her back to her front, and then to her back again. This means that she can now roll around the room, and it means that there will be no idle time for mommy. I can’t believe how far along Charlie is already. With Annie, I remember having this feeling like she would never start doing the next thing, and being so anxious for it to happen. With Charlie, it’s going too fast. This is why people have third babies.
In other news, we were finally able to secure Charlie’s health insurance. We had a doctor visit for both the girls this week. Charlie is perfect, of course. 24 inches, 12.8 pounds, and a 15 cm noggin. She’s pretty average as percentiles go, as opposed to Annie who is still just a teeny peanut, at just over 20 lbs, and 33 inches tall. She’s in the very first percentile. Pretty soon the girls will be wearing the same size clothing.
Annie has been having a language explosion. She’s learning new words every day, lots of new words. And shes figured out how to make a sentence. It’s high time I learn to stop swearing though. Surprisingly she hasn’t said any of the horrible expletives that fly out of my mouth all day long, and I’m just waiting for the day. So I’m trying to mind my p’s and q’s where that’s concerned.
And, that’s my life this week. Hopefully I’ll be able to post with some more frequency soon. I’m going to give NaNoWriMo a try this year, and mostly I’ll just be blogging. I don’t know if that counts, but I don’t think anyone is keeping track. With a new job, good business at the restaurant, and a new baby, we’ll see how far I get.
